Dog A.I.D. are seeking professional dog trainers to join their volunteer team!
Dog A.I.D. are wanting to recruit 50 new volunteer dog trainers throughout the UK within the next year and we are running a volunteer recruitment event near you!
Dog A.I.D. based in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, is 1 of 10 recognised Assistance Dog charities in the UK, that are members of Assistance Dogs UK and have been accredited by Assistance Dog International. The charity assists physically disabled people, to improve their quality of life and independence by training their own pet dog to become a qualified Assistance Dog.
We are a charity with big aims and strong values and are seeking trainers with a history of practical reward-based dog training.
A small amount of your time can mean the world
What we are looking for in a trainer:
- Experienced dog trainers, ideally accredited to a recognised body
- Commitment to reward-based training
- Ability to think outside the box and adapt techniques to meet individual needs of our clients
