With the most romantic day of the year fast approaching, award-winning pet food brand, Natural Instinct, is launching special edition recipes of Valentine’s Dinners for dogs and cats, as it’s revealed that it’s not just humans who feel the love on Valentine’s Day.
New research, completed by over 2,000 dog owners, has revealed almost half (44%) would choose to have dinner with their dog over family and friends this Valentine’s Day, while 43% admitted to buying gifts for their beloved pooch.
However, it is not just the annual romantic celebration of Valentine’s Day that demonstrates the close bond between dogs and their owners. A third of dog owners feel more loved by their dog than their partner on a daily basis, when it comes to enjoying their spare time and more than half (57%) would choose to spend this with their dog above and beyond anybody else.
