Sponsoring Nick Thompson’s Seminar!
We are excited to be sponsoring the Enjoy Your Dog’s seminar on Saturday the 6th October, where holistic Vet, Nick Thompson BSc (Vet Sci) Hons, BVM&S, VetMFHom, MRCVS, will be the guest speaker.
“Nick Thompson is the President of the Raw Feeding Veterinary Society, a rapidly growing network of Veterinary Surgeons, Vet Nurses and Vet Techs with the common interest of feeding species appropriate food to cats and dogs.
Nick’s practice Holisticvet Ltd. is based in Bath, England. He is a fully trained vet with over 20 years experience, passionate about and trained in homeopathy, acupuncture, natural nutrition and veterinary herbal medicine. He will use both complementary and conventional approaches, together with a large dose of old-fashioned common sense to try to establish what is really wrong with your animal and fix it.
Nick’s key interests are: species appropriate nutrition (including human food!), gastroenterology, vaccination and immune disorders, good simple basic medicine, removing obstacles to cure, lecturing in nutrition, raw food, herbs or general medicine and doing everything he can to share his enthusiasm for great health.
Life and work coexist for him: health is life, life is health. He has a young family and is usually found at home with a paintbrush or chainsaw in hand if not one of the children’s’ toy digger or dolly when not practising medicine.”
Nick will be lecturing on hot topics relevant for sporting and working dogs (but not only): canine nutrition with an emphasis on raw feedingand its why, what and how, vaccination with its various aspects, dilemmas and solutions, as well as thyroid disease, arthritis and itchy dogs.We are passionate about raw feeding and continue to show our support of it wherever we can and will have our Relationship’s Manager, Rebecca Allison, on hand to answer any questions regarding raw feeding.
