Cavaliers In Need Rescue is a charity based in Northern Ireland and since forming in 2013 they have rescued and successfully rehomed over 2000 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and other small breeds all over the UK. They are run completely by volunteers and rely solely on the generous donations of their supporters.
On the 8th October this year they successfully organised a health day to highlight the awful conditions that Cavaliers and other breeds can suffer from. Tickets were available to vets, other animal medical professionals, as well as owners including the wonderful people who volunteer to foster for them. They were honored to have talks from the following eminent speakers Dr. Clare Rusbridge leading specialist in Neurology, Dr Penny Watson MA specialist in liver/pancreatic disorders, Dr Stephen Mclean specialist in Ophthalmology and Alistair Gibson specialist in cardiology.
Zoe Ward said “the day was a huge success so we would like to thank everyone that helped organise and run the day, including all of the people that attended and Natural Instinct who kindly donated money to the charity and also supplied gift bags for everyone that attended.”
