As self-isolation and quarantine become the new normal and dog walks are limited to one a day, it has never been more important to ensure where they can and it is safe to do so, that dogs are exercising and utilising their muscles at home.

With this in mind, we’re delighted to team up with Flexipaw Fitness to provide home workouts for dogs, led by Canine Fitness Expert, Alison Pearce.

Alison will be leading the UK’s pet owners and their dogs in easy-to-follow, effective and free workouts via the Natural Instinct Facebook page. The series of four videos will include a variety of fitness routines and exercises for dogsThe workouts will include circuit training, gym sessions and calming stretches. You of course know your dog better than anyone and will be aware of what exercises they can and cannot take part in.

With increased time indoors, the importance of looking after our dogs’ mental health cannot be underestimated. To support with this, Alison will also be sharing a tutorial on mind games owners can play with their furry companions.

The Canine Fitness at Home series will follow the successful launch of our ‘Release the Pounds’ campaign at Crufts 2020. The first video workout will be live this Thursday 9th April 2020 and subsequent videos will be shared weekly throughout April. To take part, dog owners simply need to visit our Facebook page.
