Crufts 2017 – One of the official sponsors, wow what a show!!

By Natural Instinct 11 months ago 3898 Views

Wow what a show!! Not only were we one of the Official Sponsors this year, we also had one of our busiest and successful Crufts yet! This might also have something to do with our amazing new location in Hall 3, where our stand was double its usual size and we were opposite the fun and action taking place in the Young Kennel Club ring. We had great fun meeting long standing customers and raw feeding newbies.
This year we gave away yummy samples! These were extremely successful and we returned to Natural Instinct HQ completely sample free. As always our goodie bags were snapped up, our hamper deals were popular and the children’s colouring competition was inundated with kids trying to get hold of the Build a Bear puppy prize! We were thrilled to hear one customer mention “having something for the kids to do is a fantastic idea” as it allowed the parents to have a short break from a tiring day (not to mention it also keeping the kids happy too!)
Our selfie booth was an absolute hit! Our customers and even passers by couldn’t help but stop and take some great fun selfies! We were ecstatic to see one of our selfie sticks featured on channel 4 held up by a very excited child!
A massive thank you to our fantastic guests for joining us on stand throughout the four days:
On Thursday we had Colin with Molly the Cat Detective on stand. Molly caused quite the commotion with photographers from the press office flocking to our stand and Pet Detective fans hanging around to chat with the first Cat Detective in the world!
Friday we had the fantastic Anna Webb of the BBC Radio London Barking Blondes on stand. She was joined by Mr Binks and Prudence her two loveable furbabies. Anna was not only happy to talk with customers about the benefit of feeding raw but also signing copies of her book ‘The Barking Blondes.’ Later we were joined by Damian Riley, Dog Behaviourist and Trainer, who has a lifelong career working with dogs. He has also helped many professional athletes and sportsman train their dogs. He was fantastic at endorsing feeding raw to our customers, old and new!
Saturday was our busiest day! We had our lovely customer Jodie Marsh on stand who was joined by her Rottweiler Ralph. Jodie was a pleasure to have, talking to customers about the benefits of feeding raw and taking pictures with her fans. We have to say Ralph was an absolute star and got spoilt rotten with treats and cuddles. What a gorgeous well-behaved dog!
Sunday we had Mark Doggett from Enviro-Dogs on stand with the very clever Jess. Jess helps Mark and the Enviro-Dogs team find dry rot in buildings. Finding dry rot early is key to reducing damage and saving on the cost of repairs. Jess received a lot of attention on stand, we think it might have something to do with the cute little work booties she was wearing. Mark was great at interacting with our customers and discussing the benefits of feeding raw for a working dog like Jess.
We had great fun interacting with all of our guests… Bella the Trick Dog Champion put on a show for everyone and was amazing! Our favourite trick had to be ‘say your prayers’ – such a clever doggie! (She is also an assistance dog for Dog A.I.D.) Lez Graham (MA, FCFBA, MGoDT (MT), ABPSCA), Canine Behaviour Consultant, founder of Trained for Life and author to the Pet Gundog series, was also a fantastic advocate on stand helping advise on feeding a raw diet and was also busy signing her ‘Pet Gundog’ books.
Throughout the duration of Crufts we had our brilliant Vet, Sue Armstrong and Pet Nutritionist, Bianca Boulton-Major on stand giving out some great advice and expertise knowledge. We also had Sue Williams, Chairwoman to the Guild of Dog Trainers, and members of the Guild on stand every day helping spread the word that raw is best and giving out professional advice to customers about training your dog’s correctly.
We also want to say a massive congratulations to some of our amazing customers who competed at Crufts this year, you are all stars:
