Finely ground chicken meat and bone and nothing else - ideal for the stage inbetween feeding just their mother's milk and the introduction of puppy food (3-5 weeks of age for larger breeds and 4-8 for smaller breeds). If you have ever had any doubt about puppies taking instinctively to raw meat, just click on the video link supplied for footage of 3 week old Rhodesian Ridgebacks tucking in to their first ever taste of meat!

I started weaning my chihuahua pups onto this weaning paste I had to add some water as it was quite thick for them but they scoffed it up. The pups are now 10 weeks old, thriving and eating a whole variety of different raw foods. Only issue I had was keeping mum and the others away whilst they were eating.

My 3 week old Labrador puppies have just started weaning on this food. The bitch normally eats Natural Instinct and these puppies are really healthy and fit. The best bonus is the small poos. No more massive piles of smelling mush. :)
